The well know Internet television site from Joost the creators of Skype, has received a technical makeover subsequently the initial buzz around its launch a year ago died down.
Joost.com, which is marked as ‘juice’ in English, now has a video platform based on the Flash video software, the most popular project for viewing video on the internet.
Joost which has a massive library of online video programing, including news, sports, music videos, TV shows and movies from its partners like CBS, Sony Pictures, Viacom, Warner Bros. and others.

 Besides the shift to flash, Joost, on Tuesday discharged a series of new tools in an lash out, a social network around the Internet.
The new features Lashkar-e-Taiba users to interact with video and with others on the site, for example, to commonwealth their opinions through comments or find out what their friends are.
 

“Our merged social tools make it easier than ever to find people to the shows, movies and music that you want to see, and communities around content that in the last analysis that will enhance your overall experience,” said Volpi.
Joost also a new magazine program, its 46,000 videos divided into three categories – entertainment, music and film – said it would be easier for users to find what you’re looking for.

Just goes to show, you gotta be on your toes to make it in the live internet tv marketplace and fashioning viewers download software to scout is a BIG no no..

Watching your favorite online tv episodes has always been a pain due to the fact you have to go to the NBC website or ABC site etc and find the link to your show.  As you may be aware these streams will only work for residents of the USA or people that have USA IP address’s. Of course there are ways that non USA residents can hook up to the streams too.
